Investment Operations Associate

About the role

A market-leading funds management business, recruited through Kaizen Recruitment, is hiring an Investment Operations Associate based in Brisbane CBD. The role covers the day-to-day operations of portfolio administration and liaison with fund administrators and custodians.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with custodians, fund administrators and other third parties
• Manage relationships with fund managers on an operations-specific basis
• Perform holdings and cash reconciliations with custodians and fund administrators
• Process corporate actions across multiple asset classes
• Carry out unit price reconciliations and oversee unit price delivery
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly operational and client service deliverables are met
• Handle portfolio administration for domestic and global equities, fixed income and other asset classes

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in funds management
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field
• Financial services experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills
• Reconciliation and corporate action processing
