About the role

A global investment bank is hiring an Analyst for its natural resources coverage team in Australia. The team advises clients on M&A and capital raisings, with deal flow including major cross-border transactions across APAC. The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.

Key responsibilities

Prepare client presentations, information memoranda and investment committee papers
Carry out financial modelling, valuation and due diligence coordination
Work closely with senior bankers and the bank's global teams
Take ownership of workstreams from an early stage on live transactions

Required profile

1-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or equity research
Genuine interest in and working knowledge of the natural resources sector
Ability to manage workstreams and contribute to live deals from day one
Clear communication, close attention to detail and a strong academic record
