Inventory Control Analyst

About the role
The Inventory Control Analyst will support inventory control activities across Newmont's PNG operations, ensuring optimal stock levels for maintenance execution and operational reliability. Working within a collaborative and autonomous team, you will engage with fixed plant, mobile maintenance, and supply chain functions in a complex mining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse inventory levels and supply data to inform replenishment and stocking strategies.
- Support inventory optimisation, including critical spares reviews, obsolescence analysis and working capital management.
- Partner with operations, maintenance and supply chain stakeholders to improve inventory performance and reliability.
- Utilise SAP, Excel and inventory planning tools for reporting, forecasting and decision‑making.
- Coordinate cataloguing and material master activities with internal and global teams.
Required profile
- Reports to the Inventory Control Team Lead and works across PNG operations.
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, autonomous environment.
- Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement, analytical capability and sound decision‑making.
