Internal Communications Specialist

About the role

Fortescue is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Communications Specialist to lead and deliver its internal communications and employee engagement strategy. You will work closely with business partners to create clear, engaging content that connects teams across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage company‑wide internal communications channels, measuring impact and effectiveness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, creating strategic communication plans that support their objectives.
• Design and deliver engagement initiatives that reinforce Fortescue’s unique culture and values.
• Support leadership with key engagement activities and internal events.
• Ensure all content aligns with global communications, brand, and market disclosure guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience or strong interest in media, multi‑channel content creation, and events.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, digital communications, journalism or a related field (preferred).
• Proven ability to tailor writing and content for diverse audiences and channels.
• Capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
