Internal Communications Executive

About the role

This permanent position focuses on creating and delivering internal communications across a range of channels. You will support the Communication team in ensuring that information is accurate, timely, and engaging for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and publish content for intranet, email updates, presentations, and other internal channels.
• Assist with coordination of internal communication activities, maintain communication calendars, and support campaign delivery.
• Maintain intranet pages, content libraries, templates, and distribution lists, ensuring information is current and well organised.
• Provide coordination support to the Communication team, including document management, newsletter preparation, internal events, and content scheduling.
• Monitor analytics to continuously improve communication strategies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate/internal communications, media relations or journalism with proven expertise in corporate communications.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
• Strong capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with communications measurement systems and analytics.
• Proficiency in intranet platforms.
• Proficiency in content management systems.
• Familiarity with technologies that support communication strategies.
