Internal Audit Manager – Technology

About the role

Join CFS as the Manager of Technology & Data Audit within the Internal Audit function. You will lead technology‑focused internal audits, work closely with senior stakeholders and help shape the risk‑based audit plan for a leading wealth‑management organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technology‑focused internal audits in line with the IIA Professional Standards and the IA Plan.
• Produce concise audit reports with findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Build strong relationships with first‑ and second‑line teams to ensure efficient assurance delivery.
• Contribute to the development of a risk‑based annual audit plan tailored to CFS.
• Provide thought leadership for IA methodology and support special projects such as IT system security evaluations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk management and/or internal audit, preferably in wealth‑management or investments.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage executives and external stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, discuss and act on current and future risks.
• Relevant degree and preferably a post‑graduate qualification (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent).

Required skills

• Auditing of IT general controls, application controls and technology operations.
• Assessment of data governance, data management and data risk frameworks.
• Evaluation of technology risk management frameworks and control environments.
• Knowledge of APRA prudential standards, privacy and information security requirements.
