Intern Pharmacist 2027 - Cairns

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart is recruiting 4th-year pharmacy students for its 2027 Intern Pharmacist Program in Cairns, running on a full-time basis. The internship takes place at Chemmart North Cairns, Woree and Edmonton, where you will work alongside experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and support pharmacy services
• Build confidence in dispensing, counselling and clinical decision-making
• Take part in Care Clinic services and health initiatives
• Develop professional practice aligned with legislative and industry standards
• Own your own learning and development as part of the Intern Training Program

Required profile

• 4th-year pharmacy student ready to start the internship in 2027
• Holds (or is eligible for) AHPRA provisional registration
• Right to live and work in Australia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and curiosity
• Passion for patient care and community pharmacy practice
