Intern Pharmacist 2027 - Atherton

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart is recruiting 4th-year pharmacy students for its 2027 Intern Pharmacist Program at its Atherton pharmacy, located in the Tablelands. The internship is full-time and takes place in a busy, community-focused pharmacy that offers exposure to all aspects of modern community pharmacy practice, with ongoing mentoring from an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and support pharmacy services
• Build confidence in dispensing, counselling and clinical decision-making
• Participate in Care Clinic services and health initiatives
• Develop professional practice aligned with legislative and industry standards
• Take ownership of your own learning and development within the Intern Training Program

Required profile

• 4th-year pharmacy student ready to start the internship in 2027
• Holds (or is eligible for) AHPRA provisional registration
• Right to live and work in Australia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and curiosity
• Passion for patient care and community pharmacy practice
