Registered Nurse - Aged Care

About the role

Carinya Home for the Aged, a not-for-profit organisation in Atherton, Queensland, has provided accommodation and care since 1977 to the Tablelands community. It is looking for a Registered Nurse (or Graduate Registered Nurse) to work under the Clinical Care Lead, on a permanent full-time, permanent part-time or casual basis, under the Carinya Nurses Enterprise Agreement.

The home offers a transition-to-practice program for newly registered nurses or nurses new to aged care, and wants someone who will foster a friendly, resident-focused culture and join the Carinya community.

Required profile

• Skilled Registered Nurse, preferably with at least two years' experience.
• Current APHRA registration and relevant qualifications.
• Current Federal Police check or ability to obtain one before employment.
• Covid-19 vaccination as per current guidelines and annual influenza vaccination.
