Injury Management Specialist

About the role

MedHealth is looking for an experienced Injury Management Specialist to join its South West WA team, based in Bunbury with travel across the region. The role supports workplace rehabilitation for large employers, brokers and complex claims, helping clients regain independence and return to work. It is open to Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists, on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
• Identify Return to Work barriers
• Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to agree outcomes
• Design, implement and monitor programs that help injured employees return to the workforce

Required profile

• Australian recognised degree and full accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic or Physiotherapy
• At least two years' experience in workplace rehabilitation or a similar role
• Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver's licence are required
