ICT Support Technician – Restaurant Technology

About the role

Hungry Jacks is seeking an ICT Support Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of restaurant technology across its Australian locations. The role is hands‑on, covering a wide range of applications, hardware and network systems that support both staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for restaurant applications, systems and hardware.
• Respond to software and hardware enquiries, troubleshoot issues escalated from the IT Service Desk.
• Install, configure and maintain software, printers, terminals, POS equipment and other peripheral devices.
• Deploy software updates and assist with new application roll‑outs.
• Adapt and configure existing applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
• Serve as an escalation point, ensuring incidents are resolved within agreed service levels.
• Visit restaurant sites to install, configure and troubleshoot technology as required.
• Support computer network maintenance to keep systems secure and operational.
• Assist with design, maintenance and support of business websites and online applications.
• Monitor vendor performance and help achieve SLA targets.
• Prepare service performance reports, incident updates and technical documentation.
• Develop user guides, training materials and support resources for restaurant teams.
• Communicate planned maintenance, outages and system updates to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support via phone, email and remote tools, including occasional service‑desk work.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving attitude and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Experience in IT service delivery, service‑desk or application support.
