ICT Support Technician – Full‑time

About the role

Trinity College is seeking an ICT Support Technician to join its College‑wide ICT Services team. You will provide frontline technical assistance to staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of classroom technology, devices and network services across multiple school sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide responsive front‑line support for hardware, software, accounts, printing and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, relocate and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Support classroom audiovisual equipment and learning‑space technology.
• Assist with device deployments, replacements, collections and lifecycle management.
• Record incidents and service requests in the College’s service management system and maintain accurate asset records.
• Escalate complex, recurring or security‑related issues to senior ICT team members.

Required profile

• Experience delivering frontline service‑desk or end‑user ICT support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and common peripherals.
• Ability to prioritize competing requests and communicate updates clearly.
• Professional, patient approach when assisting users with varying technical confidence.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including out‑of‑hours and school holidays.
