ICT Support Engineer

About the role

Hindmarsh is hiring an ICT Support Engineer to join its Corporate IT team. You will provide national ICT support to employees and help administer, maintain and improve Hindmarsh's IT systems and infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, the role suits someone who wants to build technical skills in a diverse technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide national ICT support and troubleshooting to end users across the business
• Manage user accounts, permissions and security access on internal and external systems
• Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of laptops, workstations, mobile phones and tablets
• Administer mobile device management systems and mobile services
• Work with the Systems Development team and wider ICT team to deliver technology solutions
• Maintain system documentation, procedures and support records
• Support PC provisioning and standard operating environments
• Assist with disaster recovery testing and business continuity activities
• Monitor software licences, subscriptions and technology assets
• Support ICT projects and liaise with external vendors and service providers
• Evaluate emerging technologies that could benefit the business

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or relevant industry certifications and experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile phones and tablets
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take ownership of tasks
