ICT Procurement Lead – Cyber Security & Systems

About the role

The ICT Procurement Lead will provide strategic advice and leadership for ICT procurement, contract management and commercial activities within the ICT Cyber Security and Systems Branch. This role supports the agency’s digital transformation by ensuring procurement aligns with Commonwealth requirements and delivers secure, reliable technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the agency’s digital future by leading ICT procurement initiatives and contract negotiations.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and support delivery of ICT services and projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, customer‑focused solutions.
• Develop and maintain a robust, enduring ICT procurement function.

Required profile

• Experience in government procurement for software licences, vendor negotiations, professional services, consulting and labour‑hire arrangements.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, learning and building ICT capability.
• Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and ability to work in a culturally informed, respectful manner.
