ICT Engineer

About the role

BAE Systems is seeking a motivated ICT Engineer to join its Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) team in Adelaide. Reporting to the Senior ICT Engineer, you will contribute to product builds, customer installations, and ongoing support, ensuring high‑quality engineering outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support complex ICT systems, including site installations and integration services for customers.
• Provide CDS product support by responding to customer queries and maintaining strong relationships.
• Maintain and enhance the ICT/lab infrastructure, implementing improvements and supporting the roadmap.
• Generate quotations, clarify customer requirements, and prepare proposals.
• Interface with stakeholders to align project team needs and follow established plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal teams.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Solid technical background in virtualization, infrastructure, storage, systems administration and Windows Server environments.
