About the role

A Sydney Building Services team is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic design and delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects in transport, mission-critical, defence and commercial sectors. Key responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic design and delivery across a varied portfolio including health, education, defence, commercial and transport projects.
• Take end-to-end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developing engineers.
• Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders.
• Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability.

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience as a Hydraulic Engineer within a building services consultancy.
• Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.
• Confidence leading design packages and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.

Required skills

• Strong technical capability and sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements.
