Human Resources Business Partner – Perth Airport

About the role

We are seeking a People & Performance Business Partner to join our on‑site team at the Perth Airport site. The role will be aligned with a key business unit and will support strategic and operational HR initiatives that drive culture, capability, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver business‑focused HR solutions that align with operational goals.
• Partner with managers on industrial relations, complex people matters, and organisational change.
• Interpret HR policies, procedures and Australian employment legislation, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead fair and consistent outcomes across people processes and decision‑making.
• Coach and support leaders to build capability and manage their teams confidently.
• Provide expert advice on people‑related matters and manage employee cases for the stakeholder group.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a transport or union‑targeted environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial instruments (Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people initiatives with business objectives.
• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• High emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced setting.
