Human Resource Officer – Workplace Mental Health

About the role

The Human Resource Officer will join the Thriving Minds team within the Working Well branch of ATO People. You will help create a mentally healthy and psychosocially safe workplace across the organisation by supporting the ATO’s Mental Health Strategy and Wellbeing Action Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver initiatives that support workforce mental health and wellbeing.
• Develop evidence‑based psychosocial safety approaches and contribute to WHS systems.
• Design and facilitate learning solutions for diverse audiences across face‑to‑face and digital platforms.
• Lead enterprise‑wide communication and engagement campaigns such as RUOK Day.
• Manage employee access to support services, including the Employee Assistance Program.
• Apply data‑driven HR and workplace mental health knowledge to provide high‑quality advice.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to project outcomes.
