HSE Manager

About the role

As an experienced HSE Manager you will support project teams on site to deliver civil infrastructure projects, ensuring health, safety, environment and quality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Steer the development and implementation of HSEQ standards aligned with compliance requirements.
• Conduct audits and inspections across project sites.
• Prepare and present HSEQ reports to senior management.
• Motivate and educate employees to champion best practice.
• Develop work method statements, project plans and inspection and test plans.
• Implement system changes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualification in work health and safety (minimum Certificate IV).
• Knowledge of current legislation, standards and industry requirements.
• Experience in an HSE management role on civil infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Victoria to support local teams.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise in HSEQ standards and compliance.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections and produce detailed reports.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
