HSE Manager – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term (38 hrs) – Brisbane

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract in Brisbane. Reporting to the HSE Lead (East), you will drive health, safety and environmental performance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support HSE initiatives aligned with Sodexo and client objectives.
• Provide guidance to operational teams and site managers across multiple locations.
• Manage and mentor a team of HSE Advisors on a FIFO roster.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and ensure legislative compliance.
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in resources, construction or remote services.
• Proven ability to influence safety culture and manage teams in FIFO environments.
• Willingness to travel to sites in QLD and SA as required.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and critical risk management.
• Experience with root cause analysis and incident investigation.
