HSC English Tutor

About the role

Matrix Education is hiring English tutors for its Chatswood, Epping and Strathfield campuses. The role suits an undergraduate student who enjoys sharing their passion for writing and wants a regular tutoring job alongside university studies. Candidates must be available to work regularly, every week throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Run one-on-one workshops with English students
• Provide additional administrative support to English teachers
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required by the Senior Tutor

Required profile

• Band 6 results in HSC English Advanced
• Keen interest in literature, theatre and film
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• At least six months' experience in tutoring, customer service or administration
• Current study in Arts, Education, Literature or Media-related fields is highly regarded
