HR Officer

About the role

As an HR Officer you will support the delivery of HR initiatives and operational people processes across Australia and New Zealand for a global leader in access solutions.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
• Coordinating employee lifecycle activities such as transfers, promotions and exits.
• Maintaining employee records and ensuring data integrity within the HRIS.
• Preparing and analysing HR metrics and reports to support decision‑making.
• Supporting learning and development programmes, training compliance and leadership initiatives.
• Assisting with employee and industrial relations matters, including policy interpretation and case administration.
• Coordinating employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes and internal communications.
• Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, performance management and other people‑related activities.
• Supporting HR projects, governance activities and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of generalist HR experience in a blue‑collar, manufacturing, construction, logistics or service environment.
• Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and HR best practice.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and preparing HR reports and workforce analytics.
• Excellent organisational, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
