HR Manager – Multi-Site Dairy Operations

About the role

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager for its Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites, based at the Industrial Factory in Harvey and reporting to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial. This is a full-time, permanent, hands-on people leadership role that partners with leaders and employees to deliver HR and industrial relations solutions, lead strategic HR initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR, employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.
• Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement, and liaise with Fair Work and other external stakeholders on industrial matters.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
• Work with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site.
• Develop and implement communication, cultural and employee engagement improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
