HR Manager

About the role

Shockbyte is seeking an HR Manager to own the entire people function across its global operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and working with the executive team, you will shape HR strategy for entities in Australia, the UK, the Netherlands and a distributed workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, compensation, performance management and employee relations.
• Design and continuously improve recruitment processes to reduce time‑to‑hire and enhance candidate quality.
• Develop, review and maintain HR policies for all jurisdictions, ensuring legal compliance.
• Research and ensure compliance with employment legislation in Australia, the UK, the Netherlands and any additional regions.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align people strategy with business objectives.
• Drive a high‑performance, high‑accountability culture through clear performance frameworks.
• Manage compensation and benefits structures to remain competitive and performance‑linked.
• Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work independently, make decisions and act without extensive supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on building effective processes.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills to influence senior leadership.
• Experience managing HR in multi‑jurisdictional environments, preferably with EoR arrangements.
• High‑energy, accountable and comfortable thriving in a lean, fast‑moving team.
