HR Coordinator / Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an HR Coordinator / Advisor to support onboarding, employee administration, and day‑to‑day HR operations for a leading piling and ground engineering contractor in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Support employee onboarding and HR administration processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with site workers and office staff to collect and manage HR information.
• Assist with day‑to‑day HR coordination and general administrative tasks.
• Support management with operational and people‑related activities.
• Coordinate employee inductions and onboarding documentation.
• Help maintain HR systems and internal databases.

Required profile

• Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in HR, administration, or a similar support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Construction, engineering, or industrial experience is advantageous.
• Confident, proactive personality with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
