HR Business Partner - White-Collar Workforce (Hybrid)

About the role

An experienced Senior HR Advisor is sought for a genuine HR Business Partner role in Chullora, working across a professional, white-collar workforce within a global business. The role reports to the HR Director and works closely with an experienced team, supporting a portfolio of client groups while developing capability across the full HR partnering cycle. It is not a transactional HR role: candidates are encouraged to get close to the business, understand client groups and help leaders navigate people priorities, challenges and change. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with managers and key stakeholders
• Coach and develop leaders to manage their people confidently
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent discussions
• Contribute to remuneration reviews and broader people planning
• Support capability mapping, job families and competency frameworks
• Provide practical advice on performance and general HR matters
• Identify people priorities and work proactively with leaders on solutions
• Support organisational change and broader HR initiatives
• Contribute to WHS and workers compensation matters where required

Required profile

• Solid generalist HR experience in a corporate or white-collar environment
• Currently a Senior HR Advisor looking for an HRBP opportunity, or an early-career HR Business Partner
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive approach and genuine interest in understanding the business
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound judgement calls
• Resourceful and adaptable when priorities change; curious and passionate about developing an HR career
• WHS and workers compensation exposure is advantageous
