HR Business Partner - Manufacturing Operations

A leading Australian food processing and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join its well-established Queensland operations. The role sits onsite in Western Brisbane and supports around 600 employees across three Queensland locations, working closely with operational leaders in a fast-paced, blue-collar environment. It suits a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys working close to the operation and balancing hands-on employee relations with strategic people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide employee and industrial relations support, including grievance management, performance matters, absence management and workplace investigations.
• Coach and influence leaders to strengthen their people management capability and handle challenging conversations.
• Support workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent development and broader people initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives that improve processes and strengthen people practices.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation across multiple sites.
• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to foster a positive, accountable workplace culture.
• Use workforce insights and people data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
