Junior Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer

About the role

A growing Queensland staffing agency is looking for a Junior Recruitment Consultant / Resourcer to join its Brisbane team on a permanent, full-time basis. The agency combines the credibility of an established agency with a boutique, personalised approach, and offers proper training and a clear career pathway.

You will learn candidate sourcing, get roles in front of candidates and look after them from their first call, then move into recruiting on the permanent unskilled labour desk.

Key responsibilities

• Write and post job adverts on Seek and other job boards
• Search for candidates across job boards, social media and the agency's own database
• Use the CRM database to keep candidate records, notes and details up to date
• Screen applications and phone candidates to check they suit the role
• Build shortlists of suitable candidates for the recruitment team
• Help coordinate interviews and reference checks
• Keep candidates informed and well managed through each stage
• Build a pool of reliable candidates ready for upcoming roles
• Learn the full recruitment cycle on the unskilled labour desk

Required profile

• Hungry to learn and serious about making recruitment a career
• Willing to take on full training from the ground up
• Drive and determination to build a career in recruitment
