HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to Griffith University’s leadership, supporting the Health Group’s senior HR Business Partner. This role focuses on delivering effective HR services, enhancing workforce capability, and aligning people strategies with the university’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior HR Business Partner to execute workforce operational activities.
• Provide timely advice on performance management, case management, conflict resolution, and coaching.
• Support workforce planning and contribute to change management initiatives.
• Promote an inclusive workplace culture and maintain accurate, compliant HR records.
• Contribute to HR projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and influence leaders to foster a culture of belonging and integrity.

Required profile

• Knowledge of contemporary HR practices, legislation, and industrial instruments.
• Demonstrated ability to advise on and manage the full range of HR issues.
• High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Human Resource Management or related field with relevant experience in a complex organization.

Required skills

• Exceptional computer literacy with ability to use complex HRIS.
• Experience with HR reporting and analytics tools.
