HR Advisor

About the role

This newly created HR Advisor position is based in the Kilburn office and supports managers and supervisors across a range of Veolia business units. You will provide HR advice, implement HR strategies and help managers anticipate and respond to business needs, building their knowledge and capability so they achieve good HR outcomes. It suits a HR generalist with strong communication and stakeholder management skills who wants a varied, busy role within a national team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with leaders and managers to understand their needs, help develop solutions and support proactive people management.
• Roll out HR systems, policies and procedures that support business objectives.
• Contribute to workforce planning.
• Lead initiatives that increase employee participation and commitment.
• Monitor HR legislative and regulatory requirements and industry trends, and assess, communicate and plan for their impacts.
• Provide advice, support and coordination for industrial relations issues, performance management and discipline discussions, and agreement negotiations.

Required profile

• Degree qualification in HR or a related business discipline.
• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner (generalist).
• Drivers licence and own vehicle.
