HR Advisor

About the role

Dexterous manages and runs internal finance teams for its clients, using off-the-shelf or RPA technologies and a global workforce to deliver a scalable, full-service financial team. Its HR Advisory team is growing and is looking for an HR Advisor to give expert advice and partner with clients across varied industries. The role is operationally focused, working closely with stakeholders to guide talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development and HR policy implementation, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide strategic HR guidance and support.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing and selection, promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Advise and coach managers on performance management, talent development and career progression.
• Guide employee relations matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and investigations, in line with employment laws and company policies.
• Help design and implement programmes that improve employee engagement, retention and satisfaction.
• Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Stay up to date with industry best practice and changes in employment laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HR best practices and Australian employment laws and regulations.
• Business acumen and the ability to turn business objectives into HR strategy.
• Expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and HR policy implementation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
