About the role
Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre, an award-winning venue on the grounds of Macquarie University Lake, is looking for a housekeeper to join its housekeeping team. The role covers day shifts between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday, and involves cleaning guest rooms, restocking amenities and helping guests. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and restock guest room amenities
- Make beds and replace dirty linens and towels
- Remove garbage, recycling and room service trays
- Liaise with guests to answer queries while maintaining guest safety and privacy
Required profile
- Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping department or commercial cleaning setting
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work
- Good organisational skills and understanding of workplace health and safety
- Able to work independently and be a proactive team member
