Hotel Porter / Concierge (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Sofitel Brisbane Central as a Porter and be the first friendly face guests see when they arrive or depart. You will support the concierge team, handling luggage, vehicles and guest enquiries while delivering the luxury service the hotel is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and departure, providing a warm welcome and personalized assistance.
• Receive, handle and transport guest vehicles and luggage safely to their next destination.
• Offer recommendations and information about Brisbane attractions and services.
• Coordinate daily with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Promote hotel products and services, upselling where appropriate.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail and superior customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a high standard of personal presentation.
• Open driver’s licence (manual preferred) and physical strength to lift and carry heavy items.
• Availability to work varied shifts Monday‑Friday, from early mornings to late evenings.
