Hospitality Leadership Roles – Shift & Team Management

About the role

Kalis Group is seeking experienced hospitality leaders to run shifts and build high‑performing teams across its venues in Hobart. Whether you have worked as a Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or Venue Manager, you will play a key part in delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and roster a team to ensure excellent service each shift.
• Oversee front‑of‑house, bar, gaming and back‑of‑house operations.
• Manage stock, cellar and POS systems, controlling wastage and protecting margins.
• Address customer concerns professionally and calmly under pressure.
• Contribute to roster planning, wage cost control, recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain venue presentation and standards throughout each shift.
• Uphold liquor licensing obligations, RSA/RCG requirements and company compliance.
