Home and Garden Maintenance Worker (NSW)

About the role

HenderCare is expanding its organisation to meet increased service delivery needs and help older Australian clients stay as independent as possible. This casual role provides home and garden maintenance and cleaning services to clients living in their own homes in NSW. The team is described as engaging, collaborative and supportive, with experienced colleagues and management focused on your development.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning gutters
• Checking smoke alarms
• Cleaning windows
• High cleaning of fans, exhausts and vents
• Changing light bulbs and tap washers
• Tidying overgrown gardens and mowing lawns
• Heavy-duty industrial cleaning

Required profile

• Experience providing home maintenance and cleaning services
• Own maintenance and gardening tools
• A UTE or trailer to carry the tools
• Australian driver's licence
• Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
• NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain one
