HIV Product Specialist

About the role

ViiV Healthcare is seeking an experienced HIV Product Specialist to promote its portfolio to healthcare professionals across Queensland. Based in Brisbane, you will work primarily in metro areas with regular travel throughout the state.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct best‑in‑industry selling conversations with ID physicians, immunologists, sexual health physicians, GPs, specialist pharmacists and nurses.
• Analyse territory opportunities and develop a strategic account‑management plan.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships with medical and marketing teams to influence ViiV’s strategic approach.
• Maintain a high level of HIV disease‑state product knowledge and foster a trusted perception of ViiV Healthcare.

Required profile

• Motivated self‑starter with a proven track record in pharma specialist or hospital sales.
• Strong business acumen, ability to influence and demonstrate high performance.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• Practical knowledge of the Australian healthcare system, especially pharmacy, hospitals and formularies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science or business‑related discipline; interest or knowledge in HIV is preferred.
