High School French Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

International Grammar School (IGS) is seeking an experienced French Teacher to join its senior faculty from Term 3, 2026. The position is full‑time and ongoing, delivering French across Years K‑10 and Stage 6 while contributing to the school’s multilingual immersion vision.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum aligned with the NSW K‑10 Modern Languages syllabus and NESA Stage 6 French syllabuses.
• Inspire students through authentic, technology‑enhanced learning experiences that showcase French culture.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and promote a love of language.
• Collaborate with the languages faculty on interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment in line with Child Safe Standards.

Required profile

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Thorough knowledge of the NSW Modern Languages syllabus and Stage 6 French requirements.
• Proven experience teaching Stage 6 French.
• Strong academic background and a role‑model attitude of professionalism and collegiality.
• Fluency in French and a deep understanding of French culture.
