About the role
Saltbush Contracting is seeking experienced MC Road Train Drivers for full‑time permanent positions to operate road‑train side‑tipper equipment on mine sites in Western Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Operate road‑train side‑tipper vehicles safely on‑ and off‑road projects.
- Haul ore within a mine‑site environment.
- Follow roster patterns such as 4:2, 2:1, FIFO or DIDO as required by projects.
Required profile
- Current MC Driver's Licence and Road Ranger experience.
- 3‑5 years of side‑tipping experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a positive professional attitude.
- Ability to comply with WA fatigue laws and provide a recent police clearance.
Required skills
- Experience operating CAT 972, 980, 988 (or equivalent Komatsu WA 500‑600) equipment.
- Proficiency with LoadRite systems.
- Experience with Bigfoot vehicles (desirable).
- Mine‑site operational knowledge, including Take‑5s and JHAs.
