Heavy Haulage Transport Driver

About the role

Hazell Bros is looking for a Heavy Haulage Driver to support its divisions, including earthmoving and civil operations, across Tasmania. The driver must work independently, represent the Hazell Bros brand positively with customers and adhere to the company's safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain an understanding of customer requirements and give accurate, timely communication to key stakeholders
• Travel and work flexible hours when required
• Drive heavy haulage combinations safely and in line with safety standards

Required profile

• Current Multi Combination Licence
• Ability to operate under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
• Experience driving low loaders, semi tilts, extendable trailers and/or side tipper combinations
• Experience loading and unloading machinery and equipment safely and competently
• Extensive knowledge of load restraint standards
• Sound knowledge of road transport legislation, including fatigue management and OSOM permit requirements
• Current MSIC card and White Card
