Healthcare Team Lead - AHPRA Registered Nurse

About the role

Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, is a digital healthcare platform supporting patients across many countries. It is looking for a Healthcare Team Lead, an AHPRA registered nurse, to lead its Sydney-based medical support team. The role sits at the intersection of clinical excellence, patient experience and public advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Sydney medical support team, setting clinical standards and creating an environment where the team can do its best work
• Embed empathy into every decision by understanding patient needs so that improvements to the patient journey make patients feel safe, clear and supported
• Act as the escalation point for complex patient enquiries across Sydney HQ and offshore support teams, working with clinical, operations and product teams to identify risks and improve processes
• Contribute to industry events, articles and patient-centred content created with the marketing team, explaining the wraparound care model

Required profile

• AHPRA registered nurse with 4+ years of experience in a clinical, patient-facing role or in operations
• Proven experience leading and managing a clinical or operations team, including performance management and professional development
• Strong clinical judgement and comfort acting as the final escalation point for complex or high-risk cases
• Comfortable speaking publicly and representing the company's clinical philosophy externally

Nice to have

• Previous experience or interest in telehealth environments and GLP-1
• Familiarity with offshore or distributed team operations
• Experience as a media contributor, health writer or public health communicator
• Network in the Australian nursing or digital health community
