Careers at Eucalyptus · Au - Hq - Nsw
Job description
About the role
Eucalyptus is a digital healthcare platform supporting patients across many countries, and has joined Hims & Hers to expand its scale and global brand. As the leader of the Australian Medical Support team, you will sit at the intersection of clinical excellence and patient experience, acting as the champion of the patient relationship and driving operational efficiency across quality, reliability and patient satisfaction. You will work closely with Manila teams and leverage automation and AI to deliver safe, fast and meaningful patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Sydney-based Medical Support team, setting clinical standards with the Clinical Operations Lead.
- Embed a patient-first approach, ensuring every improvement makes patients feel safe, informed and supported.
- Design and implement workflows, playbooks and training so support is consistent across clinics and geographies.
- Use analytics to forecast demand, track performance, find root causes and drive proactive improvements.
- Act as the escalation point for complex patient enquiries, solving them or escalating to Clinical Operations, and working with clinical, operations and product teams to improve processes.
Required profile
- AHPRA registration with 4+ years of experience in a clinical or patient-facing role.
- Proven experience leading and managing a clinical or operations team, including performance management and professional development.
- Strong clinical judgement and comfort as the final escalation point for complex or high-risk cases.
- Comfortable speaking publicly, contributing to content and representing the company's clinical philosophy.
- Nice to have: experience with or curiosity about telehealth and GLP-1 treatments, and familiarity with offshore or distributed team operations.
What we offer
- Mentorship from leaders across Australia, the UK, Germany and Japan, with opportunities to travel internationally.
- Learning budgets, conferences, certifications and peer shadowing.
- Wellness talks, exercise classes, free barista coffee, funded social clubs and quarterly rooftop parties.
- Parental and miscarriage leave, health, professional development and personal days, plus an Employee Assistance Program.
