Health & Safety Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs across its national infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will ensure compliance with WHS legislation and foster a strong safety culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop WHS/OHS policy aligned to business strategy and culture.
• Run safety audits and monitoring programs across projects.
• Draft Construction Safety Management Plans with key stakeholders.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Implement strategic actions to reduce TRIFR/LTIFR.
• Build a positive safety culture across teams and projects.
• Report safety performance and trends to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations.
• Experience managing incident investigations and safety audits.
• Current driver’s licence for travel between sites.
