Health Educator – VET in Schools (Sydney)

About the role

Join the VET in Schools team to deliver nationally recognised Certificate III training to Year 11‑12 students across Greater Sydney. You will run weekly face‑to‑face workshops that blend theory with practical health‑industry skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate high‑energy classroom sessions covering allied health concepts.
• Assess student work against UNE Partnerships guidelines and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and mentor students needing extra support, helping them overcome barriers to completion.
• Prepare students for real‑world work placements and industry readiness.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completion of TAE40122 (or equivalent) with proof by Feb 2027.
• Vocational or tertiary qualification in an allied or primary health discipline plus industry experience.
• Current Working with Children’s Check, driver’s licence, First Aid & CPR certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, specifically Moodle.
• Experience using virtual classroom tools such as Microsoft Teams.
