Head of Strategy & Planning – ANZ Mobility

About the role

Uber is looking for a senior leader to steer the long‑term growth of its Mobility business across Australia and New Zealand. As Head of Strategy & Planning, you will partner with the GM and cross‑functional heads to shape a 1‑5 year growth roadmap and translate strategic vision into actionable plans.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize external market, macro‑economic and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and communicate top‑down strategies that define where to play, how to win, and the resources required.
• Lead the annual planning cycle, set and track OKRs, and ensure governance through regular reporting cadences.
• Identify and seed new growth opportunities, including vertical bets, inorganic play and potential M&A targets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategic planning, or a senior advisory role at a top‑tier consulting firm.
• Proven track record in high‑growth or startup environments is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional business judgement, critical thinking and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Clear, concise communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with remote teams across time zones and delivering results quickly.
