Head of Sales – Legal AI

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished sales leader to head our ANZ sales function, driving growth for next‑generation Legal AI solutions such as Lexis+ AI and Protege. Reporting to the Managing Director, Pacific, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and New Business Development professionals, shaping the future of legal technology across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute sales strategy for relationship management, customer retention and new‑business acquisition.
• Coach, develop and enable a high‑performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.
• Build executive‑level customer relationships and support complex commercial engagements.
• Champion AI‑powered legal technology, helping clients adopt new workflows.
• Ensure forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, CRM adoption and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales, account‑management or customer‑growth teams.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, retention and expansion.
• Background in SaaS, technology, legal‑tech or professional‑services environments.
• Excellent coaching and leadership capability with a focus on people development.
• Executive stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
