Head of Products – Fluid Power & Valves

About the role

The Head of Products – Fluid Power & Valves leads the strategic, commercial, operational and financial direction of EnerMech’s Fluid Power and Valve business across Australia. You will be accountable for growth, profitability, safety, customer satisfaction and workforce development across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national business strategy for fluid power and valve products and services.
• Drive revenue growth, market‑share expansion and margin improvement while managing the full P&L.
• Ensure consistent delivery of valve maintenance, repair, overhaul, PSV certification, hose integrity, hydraulic system support and new system manufacturing.
• Lead commercial growth initiatives and build executive‑level relationships with key clients, OEMs, EPCs and contractors.
• Identify new market opportunities in oil & gas, LNG, mining, power generation, renewables and industrial sectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in fluid power, hydraulics, valves or related industrial services.
• Proven experience managing multi‑site operations and geographically dispersed teams.
• Full P&L accountability with strong commercial and financial management skills.
• Extensive background in oil & gas, LNG, mining or energy sectors.

Required skills

• Fluid Power specialist knowledge (hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• Valve maintenance, repair and overhaul expertise.
• PSV certification and hose integrity management.
• Engineering, procurement and manufacturing of hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of API, ISO, AS/NZS pressure equipment standards.
