Head of Platform Architecture – Founding Architect

About the role
This is a greenfield, founder‑level position building the core platform for a new AI‑focused cloud business. You will design, architect, and launch a high‑performance compute environment that will power the next wave of AI products.
Key responsibilities
- Define tech strategy, architecture and engineering roadmap for large‑scale Kubernetes workloads.
- Lead vendor, co‑location and hardware procurement, including GPU, InfiniBand and storage solutions.
- Manage CapEx/OpEx, GPU utilisation and platform uptime.
- Hire and scale a top‑tier infrastructure and DevOps team.
Required profile
- 10+ years in tech leadership (VP Engineering, Head of Infrastructure, CTO) within networking or cloud environments.
- Proven track record of building infrastructure and data‑centre partnerships.
- Experience launching greenfield platforms and scaling engineering organisations.
