Head of Architecture

About the role

Endava Australia is looking for a client‑facing Head of Architecture to shape and win complex technology engagements. You will work closely with sales, delivery and engineering leaders to translate business challenges into credible solution options and guide the technical direction from proposal through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture input during discovery, qualification and proposal phases.
• Partner with Client Partners and Sales to design commercially realistic technical solutions.
• Translate client goals and constraints into practical architecture options, trade‑offs and delivery‑ready designs.
• Coach and mentor architects across Australia, strengthening standards and quality review processes.
• Support delivery teams by providing clear technical direction and ensuring architecture aligns with implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and technology consulting.
• Strong ability to engage senior client stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
• Track record of shaping and winning complex, high‑value technology work.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
