Gym & Membership Officer (Casual)

About the role

Newman Recreation Centre is recruiting a Gym and Membership Officer for a casual pool covering 2026-2027. The position is part of the Recreation & Events team and involves providing direct client service at the gym. The advertised hourly rate is AUD $40.68-$44.89, inclusive of the 25% casual loading.

Required profile

• Current West Australian C class driver's licence
• Current 003 first aid certificate (or higher)
• Current Working with Children check, or ability to obtain one
• Proven self-management, time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team and provide direct client service

Required skills

• Sound customer service skills
• Sound knowledge of OS&H (occupational safety and health) practices
• Effective communication skills
