Guest Services Agent (Part‑time / Casual)

About the role

Join the front‑desk team at Sydney Boulevard Hotel, an Accor property near the CBD. As a Guest Services Agent you will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to ensure every guest’s stay is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly service to all guests.
• Assist guests with enquiries, complaints and provide accurate information.
• Check guests in and out accurately and in a timely manner.
• Take reservations when the Reservations Manager is unavailable.
• Answer telephone calls professionally.
• Reconcile cashier floats, process payments, issue receipts and maintain accurate accounts.
• Update guest details in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle special requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front desk area.
• Communicate relevant information between departments.
• Recognise Loyalty members and ensure they receive their benefits.

Required profile

• Ability to work a flexible 7‑day roster.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Well‑presented with a natural ability to build rapport in person and over the phone.
• Strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Self‑motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
• Proven ability to manage time, multitask, work under pressure and think on your feet.
• Strong personal integrity.

Required skills

• Property Management System (PMS) usage.
